Warehouse Counter Associate
The Warehouse Counter Associate will conduct the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Receive and document bulk and package inventory for stock replenishment
- Organize warehouse space to maximize efficiency
- Identify missing, lost, or damaged materials and report to supervisor
- Make packaged products from bulk storage including drums, pails, and totes
- General upkeep including sweeping, trash removal, spill clean up
- Basic equipment maintenance including nozzle and hose replacement on fuel pumps
- Pull and stage bulk and package goods accurately for daily deliveries
- Create accurate sales orders for customer purchases
- Assist customers with loading of product
- Assist with training of new employees
- Re-stocking inventory and general upkeep of sales floor
- Must be able to work Saturday’s
- Expectation for continual education pertaining to company products and services
- Complete special projects assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
- Flexibility to be a team player and participate in efforts that are necessary to benefit the company
- Ability to adhere to company standards of professionalism and time demands
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- License and vehicle to drive
- High school diploma/GED preferred
Required Skills/Abilities
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Customer service skills
- Microsoft Office knowledge: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgements
- Excellent time management skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to move around the warehouse
