Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, working in a prestigious Art Gallery Located in Leeds city centre.

You will be responsible responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site . The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial duties and a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are safe, presentable, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
  • Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health standards
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
  • Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning routines
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within designated timeframes
  • Good organisational skills and reliability
  • Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • A positive attitude and professional approach towards clients and colleagues
  • Be available if required to cover other local sites in and around leeds city centre for cover
